EdgeCraft Digital ("we", "us") is a web studio based in Victoria, British Columbia. This policy explains what information we collect through edgecraftdigital.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the project type and budget you select, and your message. We also record the IP address the form was sent from, which we use to prevent spam and repeated submissions. We use this information to reply to your inquiry and to manage any work we do together. We do not sell it.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device and approximate location. We use this only in aggregate to improve the site.

Advertising and conversion tracking

We use Google Ads to advertise our services and Google's conversion tracking to measure which ads lead to inquiries. When you visit our site from a Google ad, Google may set cookies in your browser to record that visit. If you then submit a form, we share a hashed (one-way encrypted) version of the email address you provide with Google so it can match your inquiry to the ad you clicked. We use this only to measure ad performance. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy), and you can manage how Google uses your data for ads at myadcenter.google.com.

Service providers

Our website and form submissions are hosted and stored by third-party providers that process data on our behalf, and some of them may store it outside Canada. We share only what they need to run the site.

Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing steve@edgecraftdigital.com.
